Catalytic Converter Testing and High Temperature Thermal-Cycling
Hot Gas Burners can simulate engine exhaust temperatures up to 1150°C and maximum flow-rates up to 700 standard cubic feet per minute. Temperatures and flows can be cycled to accelerate thermal-cycling or coupled with water spray/submersion to subject exhaust components to thermal shock testing. Catalytic converter testing, and exhaust component testing to all OEM specifications. Hot Vibration testing on individual heavy duty components or vibration of entire aftertreatment assemblies is easily handled on our slip-tables.
Shock Absorber Durability and Shock Performance Testing
Numerous multi-shock test rigs each with load monitoring, stroke control, temperature control, and real-time load loss control. Each rig may be coupled with environmental conditions to simulate extreme cold or hot/humid. We use industry standard MTS software and all of our testing projects include a comprehensive test report complete with charts and graphs. There are laboratories that "can" test shock absorbers but we "specialize" in shock absorber testing with over 100,000 hours of shock absorber testing experience.
